          Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) standing committee meeting was held in Jakarta, Indonesia on 8^th May, 2018. Mr. Su Ge, Chair of CNCPEC was elected as Co-Chair of PECC on the basic of consensus during the meeting.

CNCPEC has officially confirmed Amb. Su’s chairmanship to the international secretariat of PECC recently after internal procedure. Amb. Su expressed his willingness to cooperate with the other Co-Chair Mr. Donald Campbell, Chair of Canada PECC and other member committees to make contribution to economic cooperation of Asia Pacific region.

According to PECC Charter, Co-Chair of PECC are elected by consensus by PECC standing committee members for a period of 3 years and may stand for re-election once.
