CNCPEC Honorary Chair Huang Mengfu Leads a CNCPEC Delegateion Visiting Vietnam, Malaysia and Japan

From August 25 to September 3, 2019, the CNCPEC delegation was invited to visit Vietnam, Malaysia and Japan. Honorary Chair Huang Mengfu, Vice Chairman of the10th and 11th CPPCC National Committee, former Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, headed the delegation, accomanied by Deputy head of the delegation President Su Ge and Secretary-General An Zhongli.
The political, business and academic circles of the host countries attached great importance to the delegation.
In Vietnam, Honorary Chair Huang met with Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Hou Aling, Chairman of the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce, Wu Jinlu. Mr. Huang had a round table discussion with the Chairman of VNPECC, Vice Principal of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.
In Malaysia, Honorary Chair Huang met with Chairman of Malaysian Investment Development Authority and President of Malaysia-China Friendship Association, Dato' Abdul Majid Ahmad Khan. Mr. Huang also had a round table discussion with experts and scholars of Malaysia PECC.
In Japan, Honorary Chair Huang met with State Minister of Cabinet Office of Japan, Tanaka Ryosei, and Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, Kiyoto Tsuji. Mr. Huang also had a round table discussion with acting President of Japanese Institute of International Studies, experts and scholars of Japan PECC.
The visit was conducted in the context of deep adjustment of globalization and global economic governance, with the China-US trade friction is still goingon. The visit has promoted mutual understanding, and reached a broad consensus on joint support for globalization and multilateral trading system, synergizing the "Belt and Road" initiative with development plans of other countries, the cooperation process of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and building a human community with shared future, by introducing China's views on the world economic situation and domestic reform process. The visit also deepened the cooperation between CNCPEC and PECC committees of the three economies.
The delegation also met with representatives from Chinese enterprises based in the three countries and local oversea Chinese.
