On October 25, 2019, Amb. Su Ge was invited to attend the Symposium on "Xi Jinping's Diplomatic Thoughts and Theoretical Innovation of the Party's Foreign Work in the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the PRC" and spoke at the closing ceremony.

The symposium was jointly organized by the International Department of Central Committee of CPC and Qiushi Magazine. 70 experts and scholars from relevant departments of central government, university think tanks and research institutions gathered together to conduct in-depth discussion around the issues of Xi Jinping's diplomatic thoughts and theoretical innovation of the party's foreign work in the 70th anniversary of the founding of the PRC, the world significance of Xi Jinping's diplomatic thoughts and Sino-U.S. relations, Xi Jinping's diplomatic thoughts and the party's foreign work and etc. Song Tao, the Minister of International Department of Central Committee of CPC, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech.
