On November 8, 2019, the 2nd China Think Tank Construction and Evaluation Forum hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation Studies (CASSES)  was held in Beijing. Amb. Su Ge was invited to attend theforum and delivered a speech on "Construction of New Type Diplomatic Think Tanks with Chinese Characteristics". Participants of the forum include over more than two hundred experts and scholars from the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC (National Academy of Governance), the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Defense University, the professional think tanks of ministries and commissions, provincial and municipal level social sciences academies, party schools and governance academies, think tanks of universities, corporate think tanks and social think tanks. The forum also invited mainstream media to attend.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Jing Linbo, President of CASSES. Cai Fang, Vice President of CASS, and Jiang Peimao, Director of the National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences, delivered opening remarks.
